GrandWagoneer.com does full, frame-up restoration jobs on Jeep Grand Wagoneers. The man in charge, Norbert, obviously loves these Jeeps the way only a true Jeep fan can, and he puts that love into each and every vehicle he works on. Take a look at these photos, it's astonishing.

Now, as with Wagonmasters, I believe GrandWagoneer.com only works on vehicles they purchase, then they sell the completed Jeeps. Norbert and his crew specialize in 1991 Grand Wagoneers. They also offer lots of current features: touch-screen navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, keyless entry, iPod integration and lots more.

Aw baby, now that's what I'm talkin' about. Here's a 1978 Jeep Wagoneer for sale in San Diego, California. It's got a rebuilt 360 Engine, V-8, 4x4, new transmission, new transfer case, lots of new parts and the seller says it's low mileage. He's asking $6500 or best offer.

Here's a 1985 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 for sale in Columbus, Texas. It's listed as a parts car -- the engine needs work but will start, and there's rust on the body. Seller says the tires are good. $400 ain't bad.

Wagonmasters

Wagonmasters is a website I like to stare at while drooling all over my keyboard. Just take a look at some of those sweet Jeep Grand Wagoneers they've restored and have for sale.

One note: Wagonmasters only restores their own vehicles for resale, but there are other companies that offer restoration services for Jeeps, and I'll be posting about them soon. My dream is to have my '78 Wagoneer restored to like-new and take it to the drive-in for a cheesy movie and some good ol' concession stand food.

Sometimes I like to pick a random city on craigslist.org and look at the Jeeps for sale. While perusing the ads for Flagstaff, Arizona, I just found this 1980 Jeep CJ5 for sale in Rimrock, AZ.

Here's another shot of my 1978 Wagoneer, which died on me today. This shot was taken shortly after I had her towed home. Not sure what the problem is, but the beast isn't going anywhere for awhile.

I don't love her any less, mind you.

My 1978 Jeep Wagoneer

This is my 1978 Jeep Wagoneer, the first Jeep I've ever owned. My fiance bought it for me on my birthday a couple years ago. This beast is a money pit -- we've had to replace the engine, the transmission, and do all kinds of other stuff to it. It still vapor-locks on me when the weather is warm. But you know what? It's the first car I've had that I can honestly say I love, and I wouldn't get rid of it for the world.
